Visitor center: Events - Design Plus

Messe Frankfurt will be conferring the Design Plus Award at the international Material Vision trade fair 2009. The German Design Council will partner them in running this famous design competition. For the third time at Material Vision, products whose manufacture involves innovative materials or processing techniques will be singled out for awards. Manufacturers, products developers, designers and architects from all sectors can apply to take part in this competition up until 31 March 2009. The competition is open to all nationalities. Participation in Material Vision is not a pre-requisite for participation in this Design Plus competition. All award-winning products will be on view during Material Vision in the special Design Plus area located in the Forum at Messe Frankfurt. The Design Plus Award will be presented to manufacturers and participating designers in a formal award ceremony on 17 June.
